All four Google reviews are one-star, spanning nine years. Customers report being unable to contact the company after purchase, warranty claims ignored despite 25-year guarantees on panels, court orders left unexecuted, illegal installation work, deposits retained without refund or service, price increases imposed mid-contract, and faulty equipment installed without disclosure. Evidence of court involvement and Consumer Protection intervention is substantial and consistent.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
A long-standing electrical customer switched to Brillare for solar installation and found the process straightforward. The team communicated clearly, arrived on schedule, and completed neat professional work, making it easy to trust one company for electrical, air conditioning, and solar.
Reviewers consistently praise SolarGrid's combination of expert, honest advice and genuine after-sales care. The owners Tony and Liz are named repeatedly for their hands-on approach and visible commitment to customers. Installation runs smoothly with clear communication throughout, and the team follows up months later to check systems are performing as promised. Specific praise goes to staff members by name: Freddie for quoting and market knowledge, Liz for office coordination and ongoing support, Jordan and installers for efficient physical work. Customers report the team accommodates specific brand requests, handles upgrades from older systems cleanly, and explains complex topics like government rebates and battery integration clearly. One early appointment was missed and another was rescheduled with little notice, but this remains isolated against overwhelming positive experience.
