Lux
Lux has a stark divide in customer experience. A smaller group report smooth, professional installs with skilled crews. The majority face extended delays (6-10 months past promised dates), ignored calls and emails, and lost deposits. Several customers have escalated to legal action, consumer protection, and regulatory complaints after being ghosted by the company for months. One customer with a $17,000 system left broken since December reports the warranty company responds but Lux does not. Staff like the team occasionally earn praise for on-site work. Once a job begins, execution can be solid. The core failure is order-to-delivery management: customers receive repeated promises, cancellations, and silence for 6-12 months while deposits remain trapped. Refund requests go unanswered. This business works for no one in the backlog.
