Most customers praise Mark's willingness to troubleshoot after hours and his installers' professionalism, especially with off-grid and battery systems. But two detailed complaints describe critical failures: panels left half-disabled for over two years after a roof repair, and a battery system installed that didn't meet stated requirements, with Mark reluctant to take responsibility until threatened with regulatory action.
Review evidence for Blackwater Energy Solutions is limited. The business operates across Perth Metropolitan and claims 10 years in the solar sector, though no customer review text is available to assess their actual service quality or recent work.
Nearly all reviewers report severe frustration with AGL's customer service: long hold times (30–60 minutes), unanswered calls, promised gift cards never arriving, and incorrect billing. Staff appear offshore and communication is often hard to follow. Account issues persist even after customers pay, invoices are duplicated, and technical problems with their app and 2FA systems block access. People trying to switch providers or close accounts say requests get lost between teams. Cold calls dump customers into hold queues without greeting them first. The company operates across gas, electricity, internet, and solar, but reviews focus almost entirely on service failures and frustration rather than any technical or installation quality.
Greig and the team deliver solar and battery installs that finish fast, often in a single day, with a focus on matching systems to actual needs rather than inflated specs. Customers consistently praise their responsiveness, technical knowledge, clean workmanship, and willingness to explain the app and ongoing maintenance. Pricing lands as fair against professional delivery and in-house work with no subcontracting. One complaint notes poor initial response; otherwise the experience is straightforward, backed by loyalty repeats and referrals.
